The ULF foundation accommodates various types of charging stations and installation scenarios, making it ideal for use in parking lots and charging locations in public, commercial, and private sectors.

A Lightweight Solution for Charging Station Foundations

The Charging Station Ordinance outlines the technical minimum requirements for charging stations to advance the development and operation of charging infrastructure in Germany. However, one of the most critical components of a charging station is its foundation, and currently, no standard has been defined at the federal level.

Traditionally, the market offers prefabricated foundations that require excavation or on-site concrete pouring for installation. This process is cumbersome, often necessitating a crane or excavator. Additionally, the durability and stability of the charging station heavily depend on the quality of the concrete used.

In contrast, the universal charging station foundation from Hauff-Technik is made from polymer concrete (FX4), which offers several advantages, including lightweight design, a smooth surface, chemical resistance, and low water absorption. The base body is constructed from PVC, allowing for on-site height adjustments to suit various installation needs.

The Advantages of Our Universal Charging Station Foundation

In the realm of charging station and pole foundations, Hauff-Technik's universal charging station foundation, ULF, provides considerable benefits. Weighing less than 60 kg and designed for on-site length adjustments, the ULF simplifies installation, eliminating the need for cranes or excavators typically required for traditional prefabricated foundations. Its lightweight construction and integrated cable management facilitate a one-person installation process.

The ULF is currently available in three sizes: a foundation plate of 300 x 300 mm paired with a foundation tube diameter of 200 mm, a 380 x 380 mm plate with a 250 mm tube diameter, and a 470 x 470 mm plate with a 300 mm tube diameter. These versatile options cater to a variety of installation requirements, making the ULF an ideal solution for contemporary charging infrastructure.
